Hosted on Saturday, May 13, the Border Battle was a great day for baseball and Hope House!
Our goal was to raise awareness for Hope House as a community resource to teens and raise support to keep Hope House available to teens experiencing crisis. Announcer Denny Laufenburger (former Mayor of Chanhassen) shared Hope House facts between innings of the Chanhassen v. Eden Prairie game. Rotary International sponsored $1,000 for every hit and there ended up being 10 hits during the game! Thank you Rotary International!
Volunteers from the Hope House met so many great people throughout the morning that stopped by our booth. Many walked away with great prizes and all found out a little bit more about the amazing resources available and incredible work being done at Hope House. Although the second game between Minnetonka and Chaska was rained out and rescheduled, we felt a lot of community enthusiasm for Hope House and we are so grateful!
Thanks, again, to our volunteers who served and all our sponsors! Each one is helping to offer LOVE, DIGNITY, and HOPE to teens in crisis at Hope House.
